I am hoping to get insider information on what I should be looking for when it comes to shopping for Used Cars. I used to live in a large city, so I never got my license until my late 20's as it wasn't prudent to have a vehicle. Now that I have my license, I would like to be able to get good pricing on a used car.
Are there websites that are trustworthy that will give me all of the information that I need? Sort of like a Better Business Bureau but for vehicle dealers? I would like to go through a reputable used car dealership instead of a private sale so there is hopefully a warranty.

Many people like going to the large dealerships it seems when it comes to buying used cars, but many people also like the smaller used car dealerships. I have many reasons why I prefer the smaller ones, and I also have a really good personal experience with one that I want to share. First of all, people often think badly about the financing offered by these places. However, I was set up on a payment through on site financing that was very affordable and didn't charge me too much money on interest. Additionally, you can opt for financing from an alternative source and just work from their selection. They often also pay closer attention to detail on their vehicles. |
